A documentary about Lisa of Blackpink is in the works, according to Sony Music Vision.
The documentary film, directed by Sue Kim, was announced during Sony Music Vision's inaugural content showcase on May 29. The film follows Lisa's solo career journey and features footage from her solo performances, as well as precious moments with her family.
Details such as the documentary's title and release date have yet to be announced.
In a statement, Lisa said that 2025 has been an incredible year for her and added how "lucky" she is to share this experience with her fans through the documentary.
"Working with Sue Kim has been such a joy. We’ve been all around the world together and I know this is just the beginning of many more exciting things to come," she said.
Meanwhile, director Kim shared that the documentary will allow viewers to learn about Lisa in a new light.
"There have been so many moments on her journey that I think will surprise people and give a glimpse into her world that no one’s ever seen before. I’m excited for viewers to watch the film and witness this extraordinary moment in her life," said Kim.
Lisa recently collaborated with Maroon 5 on their new song “Priceless.” In March, she dropped her solo debut album “Alter Ego” and performed at Coachella a month later.
Aside from music, she also ventured into acting, making her acting debut as Mook in the “White Lotus” Season 3.
Lisa and her fellow members Rose, Jisoo, and Jennie will be returning to the Philippines in November for their two-night concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
