Beauty influencer Guava Beauty passes away
Beauty influencer Guava Beauty, whose real name is Guava Shuishui, has passed away.
Her death was announced through a statement on her Instagram account on May 24, saying that the beauty influencer died on the same day. The cause of death was not revealed.
“I regret to tell you that our favorite beauty and eating show treasure girl, Guava Shuishui, officially took off her beauty equipment on May 24, 2025, and flew to heaven with an endless appetite to open a new channel,” the statement read in Chinese and translated by Google in English.
“Although this trip came suddenly, Shuishui endured every difficult moment, just like she has always been – hardworking, serious, and shining."
The statement also thanked Guava’s fans who “liked, commented, and laughed with her,” as well as for their love and support.
“She really keeps it in her heart and cherishes it very much. Guava Shuishui just changed her place to continue to shine. When we meet again one day, she should have been unboxing the Angel exclusive joint makeup and eating show there,” the statement said.
Guava Beauty is known for tasting cosmetic products in her videos while she reviews them.
Her parents released a separate statement on her Instagram, where they said they will now be handling their late daughter’s account and will keep it in memory of her.
“We know that for many people, this IG account is not just a social media page, but also a link for you to share memories with Shuishui, a space full of laughter and heartfelt communication. After Shuishui's departure, this account is now in our custody. We will not cancel this account and will keep it for everyone to recall,” her parents wrote.
“Shuishui will always live in our hearts and in your memories. Thank you for your love and companionship. May you be safe,” they added.
