Ariana Grande assures fans she's not abandoning music: 'It is and has always been my lifeline'
Ariana Grande may be booked and busy with other projects, but she will always be a singer.
The pop star took to social media to assure fans that she has no plans of abandoning singing and music.
"It is and has always been my lifeline," the "Wicked" star said on Instagram. "There will need to be room made for all of it."
Ariana said that it may "not look exactly like it did before" but she said she is currently "having fun."
"I feel grateful and excited and inspired. Finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors I love, and doing it my own way," she said.
"So I'm working on a plan to sing for you all next year," she added. "Even if it’s just for a little. I love you."
Ariana starred as Galinda in the hit musical film "Wicked," which will release its second part later this year.
She was recently cast in Jon M. Chu's new project, an animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”
Her last full-length release was "Eternal Sunshine" in 2024, put out four years after the 2020 album "Positions."
Ariana is famous for the hits "Dangerous Woman," "God is a Woman," "7 Rings," and her collaborations "Stuck With U" with Justin Bieber, and "Love Me Harder" with The Weeknd, among many others.
