Olivia Rodrigo records song for charity album; music video filmed in Palestine, Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen

Olivia Rodrigo recorded a song for a charity album and it came with a music video filmed by children from war-torn countries Palestine, Sudan, Ukraine, and Yemen.

The Filipino-American pop star covered The Magnetic Fields' song, "The Book of Love," and the music video for the song featured clips from the points of view of children living in areas of conflict. It showed clips of them running around through rubble and playing with their fellow children.

The song is part of the "Help(2)," a collaborative album by War Child UK, an organization that aims "to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict."

All proceeds from the album will go to the organization. Other artists featured in the album are Arctic Monkeys, Beabadoobee, Wet Leg, Depeche Mode, and many more.

Olivia's last release was the album "Guts" in 2023. It included the singles, "Bad Idea Right?" "Vampire," and "Get Him Back!"

Olivia visited the Philippines for the first time for her "Guts" world tour. She was also spotted in Intramuros and enjoyed a boodle fight.

The singer is currently working on new music.
