Who is Emi Aramaki? Get to know the artist reported to be Vanness Wu's new wife
F4 member Vanness Wu surprised fans when he announced his marriage without revealing the identity of his wife.
However, ETtoday revealed that the lucky lady is Emi Aramaki, which Vanness' label B'in Music later confirmed to Taiwanese media.
The couple reportedly registered their marriage in Las Vegas, United States in May.
But who exactly is Emi Aramaki?
She is a Japanese singer
Born in Japan, Emi spent his childhood in Fukuoka and moved to the United Kingdom when she was nine years old.
Emi got interested in music at a young age. She learned piano at age three and was a member a member of a chorus group during junior high and high school.
Her love for music eventually pushed her to pursue a music career. In July 2021, she released her debut song “Lonely Night.” More of her songs include “Night Ride,” “Purple Dream,” “Sayonara,” and “Scarlet Night.”
She is an actress
Aside from being a singer, Emi is also an actress. According to her profile from entertainment label Hillstone Enterprise, Emi attended a drama school in the United Kingdom.
As an actress, she appeared in the film “Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan: Ghost War,” and in the series “FBI: International,” and “The Hairdresser Mysteries.”
She is an anime fan
Emi's love for anime extends beyond what she watches—it also influences her artistry, as she sometimes incorporates anime-inspired elements into her songs.
