BTS meets Shakira, Tom Cruise at FIFA World Cup

BTS just met Shakira and Tom Cruise at the FIFA World Cup!

In a series of Instagram Stories on Monday, RM shared some snaps of himself and his fellow members Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook posing with the Hollywood actor and the Colombian popstar at the backstage of the football championship event held in New Jersey.

In the caption, RM wrote “King” for Tom and “Queen” for Shakira.

Aside from Shakira and Tom, BTS also met American content creator ISpeed who is a “big fan” of their music.

BTS and Shakira were among the performers at the World Cup halftime show alongside Coldplay, Madonna and Justin Bieber.

Spain claimed the championship title this year, winning against Argentina 1-0.

Meanwhile, BTS is headed to Bulacan in March 2027 for the Philippine leg of their Arirang World Tour. They are slated to perform a three-night concert while in the country. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA News
