'Heated Rivalry' production asks fans for privacy as filming begins

The production team behind "Heated Rivalry" is asking fans to respect their privacy as filming begins in Canada.

On Instagram, the breakout gay hockey series shared an official statement addressing its fans.

“As we gear up for more ‘Heated Rivalry,’ please help us in making it the best it can be,” the statement read. “Your support, enthusiasm, and kindness have meant the world to us.”

“If you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best,” it added.

The statement ended with a promise that the much-awaited second season will be "worth the wait."

Following the groundbreaking success of "Heated Rivalry," a second season was announced and is set to premiere in April 2027.

Lead actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie have appeared on various television shows and podcasts, made their Golden Globes debut as presenters, and served as Olympic torchbearers .
