Perez Hilton's family says his condition remains 'serious but stable'

Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of physical harm.

Perez Hilton's family has issued another statement following alleged "false and inaccurate reports" circulating in the media.

On the Cuban-American celebrity blogger's official website, a new statement confirmed that Perez "remains hospitalized under Florida's Baker Act."

"Perez's condition remains serious but stable," the statement read. "He experienced significant blood loss and sustained additional injuries that will require surgery in the coming days."

"His treatment and recovery will be a long process," it added. "We are grateful that Perez was able to spend time with his mother and sister yesterday."

The statement also said that updates regarding Perez's health and recovery should only come directly from PerezHilton.com. It also asked members of the media to stop lurking around their home.

"We again respectfully ask members of the media to leave the home and surrounding area, stop following family members, and cease photographing Perez's children," it said.

Perez was rescued from his residence in Florida after the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office received multiple calls from concerned social media users who witnessed his alarming TikTok livestream.
