‘Bring It On’ star Hayden Panettiere passes away

Hayden Panettiere, best known for her role in “Bring It On: All or Nothing,” has died. She was 36.

Her representative confirmed her death to ABC News but did not disclose the cause of death.

"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” Hayden’s father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement.

“She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her and to the millions who watched her onscreen," he added.

Hayden’s family asked for privacy as they take time “to process this unimaginable loss.”

In May, she released a memoir titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” in which she came out as bisexual.

“I’ve chosen to be completely brutally honest about this, and that’s something about me that I was never able to share with the world, because it was just never the right time,” she said.

Aside from “Bring It On: All or Nothing,” Hayden also starred in “Heroes,” “Nashville,” “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” and “Scream 4,” among others. — LA, GMA News
