NCAA: Letran wins third straight, keeps EAC winless

Colegio de San Juan de Letrán kept Emilio Aguinaldo College winless after three games with a 91-80 victory in the NCAA Season 102 men’s basketball tournament on Thursday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

The win kept Letran unbeaten at 3-0 to start the season, while EAC dropped to 0-3.

With the two teams tied at 61-all at the end of the third period, the Knights exploded in the final frame, outscoring the Generals, 30-19, to pull away and secure the victory.

Rookie Justin Cargo starred for Letran with 22 points, three rebounds, two steals, and an assist, while Jimboy Estrada added 15 points and Kevin Santos chipped in 12.

MJ Raymundo and Jacob Shanoda led EAC with 15 points apiece.
