NBA: Celebrities, players hop on Lin bandwagon

In the wake of his game-winning three pointer against the Toronto Raptors Monday night (Tuesday, PHL time), Jeremy Lin continued to command the attention of celebrities and ordinary fans alike.   Lin's fans flocked to Twitter to acknowledge the young point guard's game, solidifying his status as one of the most popular players in the league today, an awe-inspiring feat given his unheralded status, going back as short as ten days ago.  

  With Lin dishing out a career-high 13 assists along with his 10 points Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time), the Knicks were able to rack up yet another victory, stretching their streak to seven straight wins.   The Knicks play the struggling New Orleans Hornets next, before they take on the defending champions Dallas Mavericks this weekend. - Renee Fopalan/AMD, GMA News
