FTW: Who will win Pingris-Hatfield wrestling cage match?

B-MEG's versatile big man Marc Pingris earned a flagrant foul for figuring in a shoving match with Barangay Ginebra's Rico Villanueva in Game One of their semifinals series last Wednesday. The incident, along with previous ones between the sister teams, have set the tone for a very physical match.  

If B-MEG has Pingris, Ginebra can rely on the comebacking Rudy Hatfield. The veteran has been very efficient for the Kings, as he even got a special mention from B-MEG import Denzel Bowles for his defense. 

 

In FTW's latest episode, Mico Halili, Jason Webb, Magoo Marjon, and Carlo Pamintuan discuss the strengths of two of the PBA's toughest enforcers. If the two would figure in a wrestling match. Who will win?

 

"Mas maganda yung entrance ni Rudy. Si Rudy mas theatric. Si Rudy kasi may westling training e. Si Sakuragi (Pingris) naman, mahirap itumba," said Pamintuan.

 

"He'd probably be the more resillient fighter," said Halili of Pingris.

 

But Marjon reminded everyone of how effective Hatfield has been, even in containing bigger and stronger imports:

 

"Ang hirap nun ah dahil ultimo yung import ng Purefoods (B-MEG) takot kay Hatfield e. Mga 30-minute classic yung mangyayari diyan."
