NBA playoffs start Sunday morning in Manila

The NBA released the 2012 playoff schedule Friday morning (Manila time). With the NBA playoffs match-ups all set, Filipino fans are in for early daily treats as opening games start Sunday morning.

The playoffs start 1am on Sunday with the Chicago Bulls hosting the Philadelphia 76ers. At 330am, Miami hosts New York and at 7am, Indiana hosts Orlando. The last game on Sunday will pit the Oklahoma City Thunder against the defending Champions Dallas Mavericks.

Come Monday, Utah will play the West's number one team San Antionio at 1am. At 330am, the Lakers host the Denver Nuggets. Boston will start their campaign at 7am as they host the Atlanta Hawks, while the Memphis Grizzlies host the LA Clippers at 930am.

If any of the matchups stretch to a seventh game, the first round of the playoffs will end either on Sunday, May 13 or Monday, May 14. — Reneé Fopalan/JVP, GMA news
