NBA: Black, bold and beautiful - Brooklyn Nets unveil new logos

Following its transfer from New Jersey to the New York City borough of Brooklyn, the NBA team Nets unveiled their logo Monday (Tuesday, PHL time), adapting a stronger, bolder look for their 2012-13 season debut.   The team’s badge retained the old shield and the "Nets" name with a familiar white font.   The logo still includes a ball, this time with a letter "B" in the middle, while the secondary logo shows the same ball with the "B," but surrounded by a black ring with the words "Brooklyn, New York" around it.   The Brooklyn Nets official Twitter account has also posted reports of fans already purchasing the new gear from the NBA Store in Fifth Avenue, as well as in several sporting goods stores. - AMD, GMA News
