Rookie Paul Lee buried the go-ahead three-pointer to help Rain or Shine to a 93-90 win over Ginebra in the PBA Governors Cup Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Lee drained the triple against the defense of Kings forward Rudy Hatfield with 2.6 seconds left in the game.
Ginebra import Cedric Bozeman missed a game-tying three-pointer at the other end as time expired.
Lee finished with 18 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range and had four assists.
The Elasto Painters remained undefeated with a 4-0 record, Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao's best start in 10 years. He guided Red Bull to a similar slate in the 2002 season.

Bozeman, before Lee's game-winning triple, tied the count at 90-all after going straight to the hoop with under a minute left in the game clock.
Ginebra had the chance to grab the lead but Rain or Shine import Jamelle Cornley stole the ball away from Bozeman with 18.9 seconds to go giving the Elasto Painters the chance to steal the win.
Lee was Guiao's second offensive option but the former University of the East Red Warrior, with Hatfield manning him, took the shot after Cornley was well defended by Ginebra’s Willie Wilson.
With time winding down, the Tondo-born Lee decided to take shot, hitting the go-ahead basket that forced Ginebra coach Siot Tanquingcen to call a time out.
The Kings failed to come up with a decent shot at the other end, with Bozeman missing a potential game-tying three-pointer.
Cornley led all scorers with 27 points while Jeff Chan added 18 markers.
