NBA: Milwaukee Bucks, coach Scott Skiles part ways - report
The Milwaukee Bucks and head coach Scott Skiles have mutually agreed to part ways, a source told USA Today Sports' Sam Amick. NBA.com's David Aldridge had earlier reported Tuesday that Skiles had asked Milwaukee not to give him a contract extension at the end of the current season, Skiles' last on a five-year deal. But the USA Today report says that the team will announce a parting of ways for the two sides, despite the Bucks being 16-16, good for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. In his tenure as head coach of the Bucks, Skiles has compiled a 162-182 record, making the playoffs just once, during the 2009-10 season.
