NBA: Lakers center Howard injures shoulder anew
Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has re-aggravated his right shoulder injury, and will not return to his team's on-going game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time).

Prior to the end of the first half, Howard had asked to be taken out of the game with the Lakers down 54-45, before heading to the locker room.Howard has left for the locker room, where it's possible he has another issue with labrum injury that kept him out a week.

A formal assessment of his injury by the break revealed that he re-injured his labrum in the right shoulder and would not return to the game. It was not yet clear how much further time he would miss. Pau Gasol, who had been benched by D'Antoni earlier in the week, got the nod to start at center in the third quarter, alongside Earl Clark. Howard left after a 14-minute stint on the floor, tallying just two points on 0-of-4 shooting, along with two rebounds, a steal, and a block. - AMD, GMA NewsDwight Howard re-aggravated his right shoulder injury and will not return tonight.
