PBA: Japeth Aguilar bids goodbye to his Talk 'N Text family
Just hours away from his debut with new team GlobalPort Batang Pier, Japeth Aguilar first made sure to bid goodbye and thank his Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters family via Twitter. Aguilar, who had reportedly requested a trade due to a lack of playing time with the Texters, showed there was no bad blood between the two parties, thanking his former head coach Chot Reyes, his teammates and the rest of the coaching staff and management.
The 6'9" big man was swapped for Rabeh Al-Hussaini last January 31. Previously, Aguilar had opted to try his luck in the US, getting drafted by the NBA Development League's Santa Cruz Warriors, though he failed to make the final roster.
