The time for trading in the NBA has come and gone, and there was a distinct lack of big names involved in the deal that went down just prior to the deadline. Still, there was plenty of movement prior, what with James Harden being dealt just before the tip-off of the 2012-13 season, and Rudy Gay switching teams just last January. Find out below: February 22: - The Golden State Warriors closed out the trade season by a pair of minimum-level contracts away in order to get under the luxury tax threshold, namely Charles Jenkins to Philadelphia, and Jeremy Tyler to Atlanta, reports Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times. [external link] - The Oklahoma City Thunder dealt Eric Maynor to Portland, and then traded for New York Knick Ronnie Brewer [link] - The Milwaukee Bucks acquired JJ Redick in a six-player deal with the Orlando Magic, who also traded with the Charlotte Bobcats. [link] - Opting not to trade soon-to-be free agent Josh Smith, the Hawks instead made a minor change in personnel with the Dallas Mavericks.
