Kobe Bryant had 41 points, 12 assists and six boards to lead the Los Angeles Lakers past the visiting Toronto Raptors, 118-116, in overtime at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California on Friday (Saturday, PHL time). The Black Mamba had a lot of help this time around, as Dwight Howard showed up for 23 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots, while Steve Nash added 22. DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 28 points, while Rudy Gay and Alan Anderson had 17 each. Tied at 115-all with 10 seconds left, Bryant drove hard for a slam and the lead. Anderson split from the line next for Toronto to make it a one-point game, before Nash made one out of two, making it 118-116 with six seconds remaining. After a short timeout by the Raptors, Rudy Gay went up for a jumper but missed, giving the Lakers the victory.
