NBA: Raptors' Bargnani out for the rest of the season
The Toronto Raptors confirmed Wednesday that former number one overall pick Andrea Bargnani will miss the rest of the 2012-13 season due to an avulsion sprain of the right elbow, the team confirmed via press release.
According to the statement, the injury occurred during their March 8 (March 9, PHL time) game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Bargnani left with 3:08 remaining in the first quarter and did not return.
The 7'0" Italian has played in just 35 of the Raptors' 64 games so far, and is averaging just 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 28 minutes per outing.
Bargnani had been the subject of trade rumors, prior to the deadline. - AMD, GMA News
