NBA: Utah Jazz trades up for Trey Burke - report

The Utah Jazz have traded up for Michigan point guard Trey Burke, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports.

Burke, drafted ninth overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves, will be sent to the Utah, in exchange for the 14th and 21st picks, previously owned by the Jazz.

Utah was seeking point guard help, because starter Mo Williams, is set to become an unrestricted free agent.

The 6'1" Burke normed 18.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.6 steals, while playing nearly 36 minutes for this year's NCAA runner-ups.

Now with two picks, Minnesota can bolster their roster with a pair of shooters, addressing their biggest offseason need. - AMD, GMA News
