NBA: Maynor agrees to deal with Wizards - report
Guard Eric Maynor has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Washington Wizards, Michael Lee of the Washington Post reported Monday (Tuesday, PHL time).
The deal is said to be for two years at the bi-annual exemption, CBS Sports reported.
Maynor played just 27 games for the Portland Trail Blazers last season, averaging 6.9 points and 4.0 assists. He missed the early part of the 2012-2013 season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in January 2012 while a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With Washington, Maynor is expected to serve as John Wall's back-up at point guard.
The Wizards are also trying to bring back Garrett Temple and Martell Webster, according to CSNWashington.com. - Reuters
