NBA: Sam 'The Big Smooth' Perkins hangs out at GMA

Sam Perkins was shooting some hoops at the GMA Network Center, a few minutes before 7am. The ring was too close, and so he moved beyond a railing to get more of a challenge.

The 52-year-old made around a couple of dozen shots from distance, and you could count his misses with one hand.

The 17-season NBA veteran was doing the promotional rounds in anticipation of October's NBA preseason game between the Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets, to be held in Manila at the MOA Arena. Perkins played hoops with Unang Hirit's Ivan Mayrina and Drew Arellano, sat down with the Kape at Balita hosts, and chatted on DZBB.
