NBA: Timberwolves bring back Corey Brewer

The Minnesota Timberwolves will bring back swingman Corey Brewer, according to multiple reports, agreeing with the swingman on a three-year deal worth $15 million.

The Timberwolves drafted Brewer seventh overall in the 2007 draft, but dealt him away in the 2010-11 season. After getting waived by the New York Knicks, he was picked up by the Dallas Mavericks, allowing him to be part of their 2011 championship team.

Later that year, Brewer was dealt to the Denver Nuggets, where he spent the last two seasons. He normed 12.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals this past season with the Nuggets.

The Timberwolves also added Kevin Martin and re-signed Chase Budinger this offseason.  - AMD, GMA News
