The Dallas Mavericks and big man DeJuan Blair are close to agreeing on a one-year deal, worth the league minimum, ESPN Dallas/Fort Worth's Marc Stein reported Tuesday (Wednesday, PHL time).

Blair earlier tweeted out the following, leaving all but the official announcement to come.

The 6'7" forward was a second-round pick in the 2009 draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He has career averages of 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in just 19 minutes per game. Last season though, he figured in a career-low 61 regular season games, and normed just six minutes in 12 of San Antonio's 21 postseason matches.

The Spurs reportedly tried to deal Blair in the past, but found no takers. - AMD, GMA News
