After a one-year stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, veteran Antawn Jamison will see how things are with the other NBA franchise in Los Angeles.
The 37-year-old stretch forward has joined the Los Angeles Clippers on a one-year deal worth the veteran's minimum, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports reported, Monday (Tuesday, PHL time).
Jamison was the fourth overall pick in the 1998 draft, and the Clippers are the sixth team he's played for.
Last season, in 76 games for the Lakers, he normed career-lows in points (9.4) and rebounds (4.8), while matching his career-low in assists (0.7), while playing 21.5 minutes per game. Overall though, he has career averages of 18.8 points, 7.6 rebonds and 1.7 assists.
Jamison joins a Clippers team that spent a concentrated effort in the offseason to upgrade their shooting. Other summer free agent acquisitions include JJ Redick, Jared Dudley, and big man Byron Mullens, all of whom can nail three-pointers. - AMD, GMA News
