NBA: Heat forward Bosh misses game at Toronto

TORONTO — Chris Bosh is unavailable for the Miami Heat's game against the Raptors on Tuesday night (Wednesday, PHL time) following the birth of his daughter, Dylan Skye Bosh.

Bosh, who spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Raptors, missed practice Monday (Tuesday, PHL time) and stayed behind in South Florida when the team traveled to Toronto.

Shane Battier got the start Tuesday (Wednesday, PHL time) in place of Bosh, an eight-time All-Star forward who is averaging 19.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in four games this season.

Bosh is expected to return when the Heat host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday (Friday, PHL time). - AP
