Barangay Ginebra and the San Mig Coffee Mixers both stumbled in the quarterfinals, against the Alaska Aces and the Talk ’N Text Tropang Texters, respectively, but both managed to pick themselves up and win convincingly, advancing to the semifinals of the 2013-14 PBA Philippine Cup. Now these two sister teams look to advance at the expense of the other in this Manila Clasico series.
