In the West, point guard Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs), point guard Damian Lillard and his teammate big man LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trail Blazers), shooting guard James Harden and center Dwight Howard (Houston Rockets), currently injured point guard Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), and forward Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks) comprise the reserves.

Over in the East, point guard John Wall (Washington Wizards), swingman DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors), center Joakim Noah (Chicago Bulls), forward Paul Millsap (Atlanta Hawks), center Roy Hibbert (Indiana Pacers), forward Chris Bosh (Miami Heat) and swingman Joe Johnson (Brooklyn Nets).

League coaches vote for two guards, three forwards and two wildcards, with the only exception being that they can't vote for players for their own teams.

The seven players join the five starters, per conference, who were selected through fan voting.

Notable snubs include Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, Pacers guard Lance Stephenson, veteran big man Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic, 2012 number one overall pick Anthony Davisof the host city New Orleans Pelicans, and Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins.

The West though will likely need at least one injury replacement, as starting guard Kobe Bryant is expected to miss games through the All-Star weekend, ruling him out of the exhibition.  - AMD, GMA News
