NBA: Knicks point guard Felton arrested - ESPN


New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested after turning himself in for questioning with regards to felony charges of criminal possession of a firearm, ESPN New York’s Ian Begley reported, Tuesday.

Begley wrote that Felton was “charged with second and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm, which are felonies, and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, which is a misdemeanor,” citing a New York Police Department spokesperson.

Felton’s Knicks had just lost a heartbreaker to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday (Tuesday morning, PHL time), via a Dirk Nowitzki last-second attempt trickled in, 110-108.

The eight-year veteran tallied eight points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals in that game. He’s currently norming a career-low 10.4 points, along with 3.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists.

The report added that Felton will appear in criminal court later Tuesday (Tuesday evening, PHL time). - AMD, GMA News
