PBA legends debate - best shorts for balling?

"Pakpak shorts" or knee-length shorts? Which are more comfortable for basketball players? Three generations of basketbolistas in Atoy Co, Jerry Codiñera, and Vince Hizon sat down on Tonight with Arnold Clavio to answer this classic question.

Former Crispa player Atoy Co said that basketball shorts in the 70s measured "isang dangkal." Purefoods legend Jerry Codiñera said his measured "23-24 [inches," while former Ginebra guard Vince Hizon already wore "above the knee" shorts.

Atoy still thinks that "pakpak shorts" as host Arnold Clavio called it, are most comfortable. "'Pag yung mahaba, may pumipigil sa legs mo eh.

"Ngayon, ang nakita ko naman, sumusuot sila ng underwear na cycling shorts. Siguro yun naman ang nagpapadulas doon sa shorts. Kasi pag nabasa yun [ng pawis], di ba kumakapit sa legs, kaya medyo mahirap. Ang bigat."

Jerry Codiñera jokingly added that they used to have a lot of gay specatators at games because of the shorter uniforms.

For basketball fans [and fans in general], which do you prefer? Long or short shorts? Should they bring back the "pakpak" shorts?  - Nadz Ruiz / AMD, GMA News
