The Big Chill Superchargers nearly walked out of their PBA-DL Foundation Cup match against Blackwater Sports, Monday at the JCSGO Gym.

Trailing 47-25 with 2:50 left in the second period, head coach Robert Sison pulled out his players due to complaints about the officiating.

However, the team later returned to the court, though they were penalized with a pair of technical fouls.

By the end of the first half, Blackwater still led, 50-29.

The league will likely impose additional punishment on the coach and the squad.

During game six of the 2013-14 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, led by their head coach Yeng Guiao, also had a mini-walkout, before returning to finish the game.

The Elasto Painters were fined P2 million for the aborted walkout. It is not clear though if the same level of fines will be imposed on a D-League team. - AMD, GMA News
