NBA: Pacers reload with trio of shooters - reports
The Indiana Pacers have come to terms with a trio of unheralded shooters, led by former Cleveland Cavaliers guard CJ Miles, multiple media reports said.
The team also added a pair of floor-stretching big men in undrafted rookie Shayne Whittington and Euroleague veteran Damjan Rudez.
The IndyStar has learned that free agent CJ Miles has agreed to a multi-year contract with the #Pacers. More details to come.

The Indianapolis Star’s Candace Buckner was the first to break the news regarding Miles, who agreed to a four-year deal worth $18 million. The 6’6” Miles normed 9.9 points and shot 39 percent from downtown, with the Cavs last season, but played only 51 games due to an ankle injury.
Deal is reached for 3 years. We d like to thank @Pacers management for the trust. Its an honour for Damjan to play for legendary Larry Bird

Rudez meanwhile, will get a three-year deal worth part of the mid-level exception, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported.
The 28-year-old is 6’10” but shot 44 percent for Spanish team Zaragoza this past season, and 52 percent in the Euro Cup.
Western Michigan's Shayne Whittington signed a one-year deal with partial guarantee with Indiana today, agent Ron Shade tells Yahoo.

Whittington, 6-foot-11 shooter, will be out with knee injury until early 2015, but impressed teams w/ Portsmouth Invitational performance.

Wojnarowski also reported that the Pacers will ink Whittington to a partially guaranteed contract, though the 6’11” Western Michigan product will likely miss the rest of 2014 while he recovers from a knee injury.
Whittington normed 16.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.5 blocks in his last year in college.
It is currently unclear if these deals will affect the team’s desire to re-sign swingman Lance Stephenson. The mercurial shooting guard turned down a five-year contract worth $44 million, according to an ESPN report. - AMD, GMA News
