James Harden, Tyson Chandler join NBA stars against Gilas Pilipinas

 

NBA stars James Harden of the Houston Rockets and Tyson Chandler of the Dallas Mavericks lead the latest names added to the selection of top players that will battle Gilas Pilipinas in a pair of friendly matches next week.

 

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Manuel V. Pangilinan announced the latest additions on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

 

Also joining the list of NBA stars is Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings, Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors, and Ed Davis of the Toronto Raptors.

 

They will be part of the team that already includes Blake Griffin, Demar Derozan, Damian Lillard, Paul Pierce, Kahwi Leonard, Kyle Lowry, and Paul George.

 

The series  will serve as the final look for Filipino fans at Gilas before the team flies to Spain for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. — JST, GMA News
