LOOK: Fil-Ams Jordan Clarkson, Ray Parks match up in NBA Summer League


The Philippines was well-represented in Thursday's NBA Summer League game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks.

Each team featured Filipino-American guards in its roster: second-year man Jordan Clarkson, who has been a stalwart for the Lakers, and Ray Parks, the two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player who is trying to make a name for himself in the US.

Clarkson continued his fine form for the Lakers, scoring 17 points in 30 minutes of play. Parks, meanwhile, had his longest exposure of the tournament, playing 15 minutes and finishing with three points.
