LeBron James back in the Philippines

LeBron James is back in the Philippines.

 

"The King" landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Wednesday afternoon aboard a private jet. He is coming from China, where he spent the first leg of his promotional tour.

 

James and his entourage took about half an hour to get out of the airport, according to a report on GMA-7's "24 Oras."

 

James' visit is part of the Nike Rise project, which aims to inspire and provide opportunities to street kids through basketball.

 

The Cleveland Cavaliers forward was last in the Philippines in 2013, when he participated in a scrimmage with Gilas Pilipinas players and college basketball stars. —JST, GMA News
