SMB acquires old June Mar teammate Heruela in exchange for Fortuna

Two-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo is set to reunite with his old college teammate Brian Heruela.

 

The Cebuano guard joins the San Miguel Beer fold from Barako Bull, which re-acquired Jeric Fortuna from the Beermen.

 

The PBA approved the deal on Tuesday.

 

Fortuna began his career with Barako Bull before being shipped to San Miguel last season.

 

Heruela, meanwhile, is coming off a solid rookie campaign for Blackwater. He was traded to Barako Bull after the end of the season in exchange for Carlo Lastimosa. 

 

Fajardo and Heruela were stalwarts in college for University of Cebu. —JST, GMA News
