Terrence Romeo got thrown out of the court for the first time ever in his basketball career after receiving two technical fouls in Game Three of the semifinals series between GlobalPort and Alaska on Friday.

The Batang Pier star lost his cool midway in the fourth quarter after drawing the offensive foul on RJ Jazul, bumping the Aces guard with his rear after the call was made.

Romeo was whistled for the extra motion and picked up his second technical foul resulting to his ejection with 6:37 left to play in the game.

"Nadala lang ako siguro ng emotion. Kailangan kong maging smart next time," he said after GlobalPort's 82-69 loss. "Masama talaga kapagka nagpadala ka dun sa galit mo."

A few plays earlier, he and Jazul already had some friction after Jazul attacked Romeo's defense and fished a foul. They had to be separated by the referee as their arms got entangled and neither would release the other.

Jazul also played down their altercations, saying that young guard probably just got carried away by the "heat of the moment" as Alaska limited him to 17 points off a horrible 7-of-23 shooting.

"As a scorer, lahat ng bantay mo gusto mong iskoran. So siguro na-frustrate siya na hindi siya maka-score masyado sa defense namin," he said.

The Alaska guard said they did not engage in trash-talking, but he admitted to playing mind games by smiling away the heated actions.

He said, however, that all is well between him and Romeo, who is a fellow Letran Squire during their high school playing days.

"Actually bata palang si Terrence magkakilala na kami," he said, adding that the younger guard was actually his neighbor during their childhood in Cavite. "Wala namang problema. Hindi naman siya lumalapit sa akin para makipag-away e.
