World boxing champion Nonito Donaire Jr. showed his support for his home team, the Golden State Warriors, when the team held its Filipino Heritage Night on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).
 
The Filipino Flash took a photo with one half of the Splash Brothers, reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry.
 
He shared the picture on his Facebook account.
 
 

Haven't seen Steph since his brother, Seth's birthday last year but it was amazing to see Stephen Curry on the court...

Donaire moved to the Bay Area, where the 2015 NBA champions' is based, when he was 10 years old.
 
He showed off his Warriors jersey as he watched the Dubs beat the Dallas Mavericks, 128-120, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
 
The boxer also prepared personalized jerseys for his two sons and checked out the special Filipino Heritage shirts available in the Warriors team store.

The Golden State Warriors is the first NBA team to wear shooting shirts designed with elements of the Philippine flag on Filipino Heritage Night.
 
Saturday's celebration is the second heritage night held by the Warriors this season. The first was held in November, when the team escaped the Brooklyn Nets in overtime. — APG, GMA News
