Klay Thompson, Kevin Love were once Little League teammates

They may be in the middle of a seven-game championship series, but 15 years ago, Golden State Warriors shooter Klay Thompson and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love were once Little League baseball teammates.

 

The two played for the Lake Oswego Lakers Little League team in Oregon in 2001. Love towered above all his teammates as pitcher, while Thompson is seen in the bottom left of the photo.

Love ended up playing one year with UCLA before being selected fifth overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. Thompson, meanwhile, played in Washington State, before being selected by the Warriors with its 11th pick in the 2011 draft. — DVM, GMA News
