Alaska trades Cyrus Baguio to Phoenix
Alaska has traded veteran swingman Cyrus Baguio to Phoenix days before the opening of the Governors' Cup on Friday.
The Aces will get the Fuel Masters' second round picks in 2017 and 2018 in exchange for the high-flying wingman.
The deal was approved by the commissioner's office on Wednesday, according to the PBA website.
Baguio averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 20 minutes for the Aces in the past Commissioner's Cup.
He will be seeing his fifth team in his career in Phoenix, after playing for Red Bull, Air21, Barangay Ginebra, and Alaska.
"Skyrus" won two titles with the Aces, helping them cop the 2010 Fiesta Conference and 2013 Commissioner's Cup championships in his six-year tenure with the franchise.
