Sister of Boston Celtics's guard Isaiah Thomas dies in car accident

The sister of Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas died in a car accident early on Saturday.

The Celtics, who are due to open their NBA playoff campaign against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, said in a statement: “We are terribly saddened by the tragic loss of Chyna Thomas.

“The thoughts and prayers of the entire Celtics organization are with Isaiah and his family.”
