San Miguel stays spotless with domination of Mahindra

The San Miguel Beermen raced to a 32-16 lead and never looked back, cruising to a 109-80 win over the Mahindra Floodbusters on Wednesday at the Cuneta Astrodome to stay unbeaten in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

The Beermen were able to stretch their lead to 34 points at one point, leaning on a high 45 percent shooting clip.

Alex Cabagnot led San Miguel with 26 points, right boards, and four assists, while import Charles Rhodes tallied 20 points with 18 rebounds. Marcio Lassiter, meanwhile, hit 18 points, while Gabby Espinas led the bench with 12.

Mahindra import Keith Wright had just 16 points with 12 boards, while the rest of the starters struggled to connect. 

LA Revilla was 3 of 10 for seven markers, while Philip Paniamogan went scoreless after seven attempts. 

Nico Salva and Jason Deutchman combined for 10 points off a 4 of 15 shootling clip. 

Gary David and Jackson Corpuz delivered off the bench, though, scoring 13 and 10 points, respectively.

San Miguel enjoyed a 39 percent clip from deep, connecting on 15 triples, while limiting Mahindra to just three long bombs off 30 attempts.
