Phoenix stays unbeaten with rout of Alaska
The Phoenix Fuelmasters stayed unbeaten on Saturday after eking out a 95-93 victory against the Alaska Aces at the MOA Arena in Pasay City in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup.

Eugene Phelps led Phoenix with 29 points and 14 rebounds, including the game-winner. RJ Jazul added 15 as a starter, while Joseph Eriobu and John Wilson paced the bench with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
The Fuelmasters saw their 10-point lead in the final 5:21 reduced to just one entering the final minute and a half, before Noy Baclao's jumper finally gave the Aces a taste of the lead, 89-88.
Off a timeout, Phoenix went to JC Intal for a layup, while Ladontae Henton restored Alaska's one-point edge with 43 seconds remaining.
Ten seconds later, however, RJ Jazul rung in a triple, forcing the Aces to call for a break. Chris Banchero tipped in a Hentos miss to tie the game at 93-all with 21 ticks remaining, before letting Eugene Phelps drain the clock and take the game-winner with two seconds left.
Ladontae Henton had 30 points for Alaska, who had no other player in double figures except for Simon Enciso who had 17.
