June Mar Fajardo wins fourth straight MVP

June Mar Fajardo was named Most Valuable Player of the PBA for the fourth straight year.
The San Miguel Beer center became the first man to win the pro league's top plum four straight times after leading the squad to its third straight Philippine Cup title as well as the Commissioner's Cup championship.
Fajardo also tied the record shared by Ramon Fernandez and Alvin Patrimonio of four MVP wins.
San Miguel dominated the winners' circle, with Arwind Santos, Chris Ross, and Alex Cabagnot joining Fajardo in the mythical five. Barangay Ginebra's Japeth Aguilar rounded out the selection.
Ginebra's Joe Devance and LA Tenorio, TNT's Jayson Castro and Kelly Williams and Meralco's Cliff Hodge comprised the mythical second five.
TNT's Roger Pogoy won Rookie of the Year honors, while Ross was named Most Improved Player.
Rain or Shine's Gabe Norwood won the league's Sportsmanship Award.
Fajardo, Norwood, Aguilar, Ross, and Star rookie Jio Jalalon were named to the Defensive Team. —JST, GMA News
