Kai Sotto attracts attention of another NCAA Division I school—report

Kai Sotto has attracted the attention of another top basketball program in the United States.

According to Verbal Commits, a website which charts recruiting information on NCAA Division I schools, the University of Georgia made an offer to the 7-foot-3 center.

The Georgia Bulldogs count nine-time NBA All-Star and Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins as one of its alumni.

Sotto, 17, was recently named the Most Valuable Player in The Skill Factory King Invitational tournament in Atlanta.

ESPN tagged him as a four-star recruit and ranked him at no. 68 in its top 100 high school players. A sports analyst also called him a "big-time prospect" in the NCAA.

Verbal Commits lists Auburn, Georgia Tech, and DePaul among the schools which expressed an interest in the former UAAP juniors MVP.
