NBA pays tribute to Kobe Bryant with tear-jerking video
The National Basketball Association (NBA) honored basketball icon Kobe Bryant by remembering his greatest moments through a video.

"Once upon a time, there was a young basketball player who had dreams of becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time," Kobe began.
"As time went on, he felt that he had accomplished all that he set out to accomplish. But what he'd come to is that realize that the goal he set out initially, to become the greatest of all time, was a very fickle one," he later added.
The video was a compilation of some of his best moments on the court, and clips of his journey to achieving basketball immortality.
His family, including his daughter Gianna who died alongside him in the tragic chopper accident, made appearances in the video.
"The story would be about transformation — of a kid looking inwardly to then growing up and understanding the importance and power of looking outwardly," Kobe said, reflecting on his growth throughout his career.
Kobe, Gianna, and seven others died in a helicopter crash last January 26 in Calabasas, California.
During a memorial called "Celebration of Life," Kobe was remembered as a man of passion, as a fierce competitor who turned his fire for basketball into a love for coaching children while putting his wife and their four daughters above all else.
