UAAP high school basketball Finals to be played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 threat
The Game 2 of the UAAP Season 82 high school basketball Finals scheduled tomorrow, March 9, 2020, will be played behind closed doors as part of precautionary measures for the COVID-19 threat.
The announcement was made Sunday by UAAP Executive Director Rebo Saguisag.
In a memo released by the UAAP, the decision was made after consultations with concerned government agencies and upon the recommendation of the venue partner, FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

According to the memo, only players and essential staff will be given access as they will implement the "No UAAP ID, No Entry Policy."
The NU Bullpups will try to bag the boys' basketball tomorrow against the FEU Baby Tamaraws. Prior to the boys' Finals, the girls' Finals between UST and Adamson will be played.
The UAAP previously postponed some of its events as well due to the COVID-19 threat. — LA, GMA News
