Pau Gasol spends time with Kobe Bryant's daughters

Pau Gasol showed that he will always be there for Kobe Bryant, his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate and "big brother."

SportsCenter on Tuesday shared photos from Vanessa Bryant's private Instagram account showing the two-time NBA champion spending time with Kobe's daughters.

In one photo, Gasol was seen carrying Kobe's youngest daughter Capri, who was smiling widely at the camera.

Another photo showed Bianka, 3, engaging in a seemingly animated conversation with her uncle.

Gasol also posed for a picture with Kobe's eldest daughter Natalia, who was wearing a gray sweater with the words "Boom Boom Pau."

Fans could not help but become emotional on Twitter after seeing the center, a close teammate and friend of Kobe, checking up on the late legend's family.

The two played together for seven seasons and won a pair of NBA championships in 2009 and 2010. —MGP, GMA News
